About Bridge House College

ORGANISATION

On the Board of Governors of Bridge House College are distinguished Nigerians with vast experience and a special interest in education.

Great care is taken in the selection of tutors: prerequisites are excellent knowledge of their subject and first class communication skills. They are driven by examination success and are fully conversant with syllabus requirements while some are examiners with major examination boards. The staff remuneration and package is such that they are motivated to give their very best. The college has also adopted programmes for the development of teaching staff through in-service training, workshops and seminars. In addition, we are supported by a highly experienced UK based Consultant with many years of experience of both Nigerian and British education.

We are in partnership with Brooke House College, UK . We also have relationships with many universities abroad including the University of Leicester , University of Warwick , Oxford Brookes University, Southampton Institute, Bolton Institute, Northumbria University all in the UK and Maple Education, Canada.

Class Size

The classes average approximately 10 students. We believe that small relatively informal classes ensure that students receive individual attention that encourages them to participate fully. Students feel confident to voice opinions, contribute to group discussions as well as admit if they have not understood. We also offer additional learning support through examination skills seminars in smaller tutorial groups.
